Yash’s Toxic Plot Revealed, Film Gets ‘A’ Certificate Ahead Of August 26 Release

Yash’s much-awaited motion thriller Poisonous: A Fairy Story for Grown-Ups is all set to hit the large screens on August 26. The movie, directed by Geetu Mohandas, has obtained an ‘A’ certificates from the Central Board of Movie Certification (CBFC), clearing the way in which for its theatrical launch.

In line with the CBFC certification particulars, Poisonous was licensed by the Bengaluru regional workplace on August 13, 2026. The certificates lists the movie’s language as Kannada and its licensed size as 194.12 metres. 

The official plot abstract of the movie reads, “A gangster navigates the complexities of loyalty, morality, and the wrestle for private redemption in a post-independence Goa the place violence and jealousy reign. With its atmospheric world, brutal motion sequences, and morally conflicted characters, the movie explores the worth one should pay for love and for locating redemption amidst the darkness.”

Directed by Geetu Mohandas, Poisonous is produced by Venkat Ok Narayana below KVN Productions and Monster Thoughts Creations. Written and shot in Kannada and English, the movie can have dubbed variations in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam.

The film boasts a stellar solid together with Yash, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Kiara Advani, Tara Sutaria and Rukmini Vasanth.
