Parliament Monsoon Session Day 14 updates: Rajya Sabha approves Appropriation (No.3) Bill; Lok Sabha passes Taxation Bill without debate

When asked about Rajya Sabha proceedings, CPI MP P Sandosh, said, “That was in fact a big achievement for the opposition, we were continuously demanding that the HM should come and make a statement, it was a very earnest, sincere, simple, genuine demand, which the government was not ready to concede, many reasons, but finally the chair had to intervene, the chairman of the Rajya Sabha, without any ambiguity, he instructed Mr. Rijiju to convey the feeling of the opposition, why the HM is not present, what is the reason of his absence, now it’s on record, Mr. Rijiju has to convey the reply to the House. We are waiting for that reply.”- PTI
