As earlier reported, the Oppo A7 Pro Max is now official. The A7 Pro Max 5G is Oppo’s latest addition to its A-series lineup, focusing mainly on battery life as it packs a 10,000mAh battery. The Oppo A7 Pro Max is also the world’s first phone to feature the all-new Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 mobile platform, built on TSMC’s 4nm process. It features an octa-core CPU with two Cortex-A78 cores clocked at up to 2.4GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores running at up to 2.0GHz, paired with the Adreno G629 GPU. The handset comes with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.
On the front, the phone sports a 6.78-inch flexible AMOLED display with an FHD+ resolution of 2772 by 1272 pixels, a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, 10-bit color, and up to 1,800 nits of peak brightness. It also supports a 330Hz touch sampling rate in select gaming scenarios. The A7 Pro Max features a 50MP front-facing camera, while the rear houses a 50MP primary camera with OIS, a 2MP monochrome sensor, a notification LED, and an LED flash. Both the front and rear cameras support up to 1080p video recording.
It goes without saying that the biggest highlight is its 10,000mAh Glacier battery, which uses Oppo’s proprietary spherical silicon-carbon battery technology. It supports 80W SuperVOOC fast charging, 80W UFCS charging, and 27W reverse charging. Other notable features include an in-display optical fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers with up to 300 percent volume, NFC, an IR blaster, Wi-Fi 5, IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings, an AI-powered Outdoor Mode 2.0, and ColorOS 16 layered on top of Android 16.
The Oppo A7 Pro Max comes in Wave Rider, Orange Glow, and Mountain Black color options. It is priced at 2,199 Yuan (~$325) for the 8GB+128GB model, 2,699 Yuan (~$400) for the 12GB+256GB variant, and 2,999 Yuan (~$445) for the 12GB+512GB version. The phone is now available in China, with global availability still uncertain.
