Official: Modric decides to continue playing with Croatia national team at 41

The Croatian soccer federation has confirmed that Milan star Luka Modric will proceed representing his nationwide staff on the age of 41, regardless of studies that he was attributable to retire after a disappointing Serie A and World Cup marketing campaign over the previous few months.

The Croatian FA has confirmed in a statement on Saturday that Modric can be included in Slaven Bilic’s nationwide staff squad for the September-October worldwide break, which can be introduced in full on Monday. 

Modric has given his affirmation that he can be out there for everything of Croatia’s upcoming Nations League marketing campaign assuming that he’s match. 

There had been options earlier this summer season that Modric could have retired after lacking out on Champions League soccer with Milan on the finish of final season, earlier than a disappointing World Cup marketing campaign, which resulted in a spherical of 32 elimination by Portugal.
