Prime U.S. army officers face lie-detectors in leak hunt: stories
The Pentagon has launched a lie-detector dragnet to comb by way of high-ranking army officers and establish who leaked details about US munitions stockpiles, in keeping with U.S. press stories.
In July, stories emerged that the US was rationing munitions — its missile interceptors, specifically — over provide issues after a number of months of combating Iran.
Administration officers vehemently denied these stories, with President Donald Trump saying “now we have plenty of ammunition, differing kinds,” whereas acknowledging that “for a few of the extra refined stuff, we’d definitely prefer to have extra.”
