EA Sports has officially revealed the EA FC 27 Ultimate Team deep dive, which showcased several gameplay & progression improvements in the Ultimate Team mode.
The new introduction of the FUT Gallery to a complete overhaul of Squad Building Challenges (SBCs). Let’s check out more details in this article.
What is FUT Gallery in EA FC 27 Ultimate Team?
This is a new collection system that will reward players for completing the themed sets based on clubs, leagues, nations, and football stars.
Each of the completed sets will contribute to your overall FUT Gallery level. With this, you can unlock exclusive cosmetics, tokens and special bonuses for both Clubs and Ultimate Team.
Also, these tokens can be exchanged for brand new Hall of FUT player items and Rebalance Icons.
At the launch of the game, Hall of FUT cards will only be available through the FUT Gallery. Reaching higher levels will also guarantee Holographic player items.

SBCs changes
EA Sports FC has also simplified the SBC experience in EA FC 27 Ultimate Team. They have removed the chemistry and position requirements entirely.
Now, players need to achieve a required squad score to complete an SBC. This will reduce the time that is spent on adjusting the lineup and make the challenge more convenient for the players.
Progression has been slowed
EA Sports FC is also focusing on balancing the Ultimate Team progression. Endgame cards have been toned down by roughly 20%. Every player item will be limited to a maximum of three PlayStyle+ traits.
Promotional campaigns will also be shortened by five weeks.
Evolution upgrades
Evolution is also getting some upgrades in EA FC 27 Ultimate Team. You can now choose from multiple evolution paths and preview to complete the Evolution chain before committing.
Unlike past changes, Future Evolutions will not wipe out previous upgrades, so players can build upon their favourite footballers without losing any progress.
The PlayStyle Lab also goes back at launch as an added option for players that will be able to customize eligible cards as well. Stronger PlayStyles, however, will be less common and will need more coins for unlocking.
Better match rewards
The rewards earned by playing matches are also going to be increased in EA FC 27 Ultimate Team. You will now receive more FUT coins, Season Points (SP), tradeable packs, and Tokens after games.
The promotional squad is also going to feature fewer players but with tighter overall ratings.
