Roman Reigns was furious with The Bloodline, though we have seen him much angrier. He demanded that they leave a former US Champion alone and not touch him for one interesting reason.
For some context, Roman Reigns didn’t get much of a break on the episode of RAW after SummerSlam 2026. He wasn’t in a position where there was simply no challenger. In fact, he got a contender right off the bat, and that man happened to be none other than LA Knight, the former United States Champion, who had been calling Reigns out for months now. His last few months have been defined by a Bloodline character arc, and he has made it clear how little he respects the group and Reigns. This is primarily from early November 2023, when Knight was a challenger for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship, only to lose due to Bloodline interference, which was typical.

Following Roman Reigns’ confrontation with LA Knight, The OTC was with the remaining members of The Bloodline backstage, where he scoffed at their loss at SummerSlam 2026. When Jey Uso said that they could take care of LA Knight, Reigns demanded that they leave him alone, as they had already tried and failed at SummerSlam. After demanding that Jacob Fatu take care of business with Royce Keys in the main event, Reigns vowed to be the one to shut LA Knight down.
“Shut it down. You had your chance with La Knight. Leave that fool to me. Don’t touch him.”
Reigns made it clear to Fatu that he had only one family and that, despite what men like Royce Keys said, only the Bloodline was real. This is a very interesting point because Keys was Fatu’s friend when he had nothing and was in the aftermath of his jail time.
During that period, there was no support from his family, including Roman Reigns and The Usos.
