The last-minute plans are still being worked on.
Dispatch has exposed how last-minute YG Entertainment‘s preparations have been for BLACKPINK‘s 10th-anniversary event.
In an exclusive report from Dispatch, they have highlighted how YG Entertainment still has not confirmed a specific venue for the event and how the members hurriedly adjusted their schedules to make sure they could attend. When YG Entertainment announced BLACKPINK’s 10th-anniversary event on August 6 to be held on August 8, neither the exact venue nor the participating members were confirmed. Dispatch has shared that YG Entertainment had been trying to coordinate plans for the group’s 10th-anniversary for some time, but communication between the company and the BLACKPINK members was not smooth during the entire process.
According to Dispatch, two unnamed members suddenly expressed their interest in participating in the event, while the other two members scrambled to adjust their schedules last minute to make sure they could attend. Once YG Entertainment received confirmation that all four members would attend, they still had issues. Since it is difficult for all four members to be at the same place at the same time, the event had to be held during daylight hours, but no specific time has been shared.
The venue for the fan event is slated to be the National Museum of Korea, but no specific location within the museum has been decided yet. This is due to the museum receiving on average 40,000 visitors per day, so roping off a part of the museum for the event is difficult.
Nearly 40,000 visitors come through on any given day. We are coordinating to ensure it does not interfere with the flow of general visitors.
