Bengaluru engineer messages mother before wife’s death, dies by suicide – Bangalore News

A civil engineer in Bengaluru allegedly killed his spouse throughout a home dispute after which despatched a message to his mom saying he was going to die earlier than hanging himself at their residence, police stated.

The deceased have been recognized as 32-year-old Sumanth, a civil engineering graduate from Dakshina Kannada, and his 29-year-old spouse Padmavathi, a software program skilled from Hubballi.

In keeping with police, the couple had an argument at their residence in Rajeshwari Nagar, Hegganahalli, on Wednesday, which later turned violent. Sumanth allegedly assaulted Padmavathi and suffocated her with a pillow, inflicting her to lose consciousness. Police suspect she later died.

After realising that Padmavathi was not respiration, Sumanth allegedly referred to as his mom and advised her what had occurred. He subsequently despatched her a message indicating that he was going to die.

His mom alerted the owner after seeing the message. When the home was opened, Sumanth was discovered hanging from a ceiling fan within the corridor, whereas Padmavathi was discovered lifeless contained in the residence.

The Rajagopal Nagar Police reached the spot and registered a case. The our bodies have been shifted to Victoria Hospital for autopsy examination.

Police stated the precise explanation for Padmavathi’s demise and the sequence of occasions resulting in each deaths are but to be established. An in depth investigation is underway.
