Hyderabad: A retired Military jawan died on the spot after a rushing Mahindra SUV allegedly travelling on the flawed aspect of the highway hit him at Hydershakote close to Narsingi on Monday. The accident occurred close to SMP College.
The deceased was recognized as Ravinder, and his physique was shifted to Osmania Hospital for a autopsy examination.
Based on experiences, the SUV, allegedly pushed by a youth drunk, first hit Ravinder after which rammed into 4 pedestrians strolling alongside the highway. Three of them sustained critical accidents, whereas one is reportedly in essential situation.
It’s learnt that 5 youths had been travelling within the SUV on the time of the accident. Following the incident, they reportedly fled the scene.
Narsingi Police registered a case and launched an investigation. Police reportedly recognized the SUV as belonging to Babu Goud, a resident of the Shamshabad Airport space, and located alcohol bottles contained in the car. Police are gathering CCTV footage, and additional investigation is underway.
