CHENNAI: Movie producer Archana Kalpathi Aghoram has been appointed as a member of the reconstituted state-level committee of the Hindu spiritual and charitable endowments (HR&CE) division, tasked with appointing non-hereditary trustees to temples that generate an annual revenue of greater than Rs 10 lakh.The seven-member committee has been constituted for a two-year time period with impact from July 24, based on an order issued by HR&CE secretary J Kumarakurubaran.Thavathiru Sivagnana Balaya Swamikal of Boomapuram Adheenam has been appointed as chairman whereas retired district and classes decide Ok Ramanathan will function deputy chairman.Archana is related to AGS Leisure, which produced C Joseph Vijay-starrer movies GOAT and Bigil.Her appointment comes in opposition to the backdrop of Vijay naming producer Ok Venkata Narayanan, producer of his newest movie Jana Nayagan, as a particular consultant of the Tamil Nadu authorities in Delhi.
