India will face Pakistan in the marquee match of the 2026 Women’s Asia Cup, set to be played at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, on September 5, the Asian Cricket Council announced on Thursday. The tournament will kickstart on August 28, with Thailand facing Hong Kong.
This will be the sixth edition of the Women’s Asia Cup to be played in the T20 format. The eight teams have been separated into two groups, with India and Pakistan slotted alongside Thailand, Hong Kong and China in Group A, while Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, UAE and Indonesia will feature in Group B.
The top two teams from each group will qualify for the semis, with the final set to be played on September 13. All the matches will be held at the Dubai International Stadium, and will be played under lights.
