The story up to now:

4 years after it was introduced, some of the anticipated and controversial initiatives for Chennai metropolis, the second airport proposed at Parandur, has now been scrapped by the Tamil Nadu authorities. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay introduced within the State Meeting on August 24 that the federal government would drop the undertaking and search for another website to construct Chennai’s second airport.
