Real Madrid attacker Vinicius Junior passed his preseason medical and completed Monday’s training session with his teammates, the club informed on its official website.
It’s been a busy summer for Vinicius, who will now work hard to improve his conditioning ahead of the team’s season opener against Espanyol on August 22nd. The Brazilian attacker is yet to sign a contract extension with Real Madrid and the rumors suggesting that the club could decide to sell him this summer if he doesn’t agree to a new deal have been gaining traction, with Arsenal reportedly being the club leading the race to sign him if that ends up being the case.
For the moment, Vinicius and his representatives will hold meeting with Real Madrid’s board over the next few days to keep discussing said extension.
