Srinagar, Aug 25: Safety forces have apprehended two suspects and recovered a pistol, 12 rounds and a hand grenade throughout a search operation within the normal Yarwan forest space of Pulwama district, officers mentioned.
The operation was launched through the intervening night time of August 24 and 25 by a joint group of J&Ok Police, Military’s 44 Rashtriya Rifles and 183 CRPF within the forest space close to CB Nath village in Rajpora.
In response to officers, through the search operation, two people have been observed approaching CB Nath village from the forest space in a suspicious method.
The suspects have been recognized as Latif Ahmed Deedad, son of Gh Mohammad Deedad, resident of Lassi Daban, and Aejaz Ahmed Bajad, son of Nazir Ahmed Bajad, resident of Bun Kha Bamnoo.
The 2 have been apprehended by the joint group, officers mentioned.
A search of their possession led to the restoration of 1 pistol, 12 pistol rounds and one hand grenade, officers mentioned. Each suspects, together with the recovered arms and ammunition, have been taken into custody for additional investigation.
The search operation within the space is continuous.
