August may have just begun, but we’re taking an early gander at what’s ahead for September 2026’s Xbox Game Pass lineup. We already knew of two games, Dune: Awakening and Minecraft Dungeons 2, but thanks to a couple of recent announcements, we can now confirm two more games are on the way.
First up is SpeedRunners 2: King of Speed from tinyBuild Games. Originally bundled up for July’s offering before stumbling at the final hurdle, the speedy sequel has now slipped into September instead. Our other lock for next month is Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault, which will mark its console debut as it leaves Early Access and launches alongside its full version 1.0 release.
Here’s a closer look at the two new titles confirmed for next month:
Live the double life of a fearless adventurer and a crafty merchant! Dive into vibrant dimensions brimming with shiny loot and pesky enemies. Grow your shop, tinker with weapons and gadgets, as well as make your mark among a ragtag community of castaways.
The ultimate competitive platformer is back! Outrun, outjump, and outsmart your rivals in cutthroat online/local races, now up to 8 players online. Master the movement, learn meticulously designed maps, use powerful pick-ups, swing around with a grappling hook, and don’t get knocked off-screen!
