Sensex Immediately | Inventory Market LIVE Updates, Thursday, Aug 27, 2026: The Nifty50 and the Sensex erased positive aspects as cement, FMCG, and PSU financial institution shares weighed. As of two:00 PM, the Sensex fell 270.13 factors or 0.35 per cent to 77,202.81 and the Nifty50 was down 75.70 factors or 0.31 per cent at 24,132.05.
HDFC Financial institution, Hindalco Industries, and Shriram Finance shares have been the highest losers within the Nifty50 index.
Within the broader markets, the Nifty MidCap and the Nifty SmallCap have been buying and selling 0.05 per cent and 0.06 per cent decrease, respectively. Sector-wise, the Nifty PSU Financial institution, the Nifty Oil and Fuel, and Nifty FMCG underperformed, whereas the Nifty Non-public Financial institution, the Nifty COnsumer Durables, and the Nifty Pharma outperformed.
