Sonu Nigam had a beautiful dialog with Komal Nahta about his illustrious profession, some memorable songs and much more. At one level, he revealed how a useful suggestion made lots of distinction to the heartbreak tune ‘Sau Dard’ in Jaan-E-Mann (2006). Starring Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar and Preity Zinta, the movie was produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and directed by Shirish Kunder.

Sonu Nigam revealed, “Director Shirish Kunder informed Anu Malik ji, ‘Are you able to get the primary line repeated?’ or if one thing could be carried out with the final phrase ‘Nahin’ within the mukhda. Anu ji fatt samaj jaate hai ki kya chahiye. Because of this the phrase ‘Nahin’ will get stretched. Toh usse dekho kitna farak pad gaya. So, Shirish gave a superb suggestion, Anu ji ne usko accha roop de diya. And that approach, the tune managed to face out.”

He added, “This improvisation occurred once I was studying the tune. Then I integrated the change once I was recording the tune.”

Sonu Nigam then expressed disappointment that the romantic musical did not work on the field workplace regardless of an overwhelmingly optimistic phrase of mouth.

Sonu Nigam remarked, “Each tune of that movie was excellent. Even that movie was excellent. Waqt kharab hota hai insaan ka. Typically, faltu movies turn out to be massive hits whereas such a superb movie fails on the field workplace. Salman Khan ne kitni acchi appearing ki thi. Akshay Kumar, Preity Zinta sab ne acchi appearing ki thi. Music is so beautiful. Even at the moment, it’s fondly remembered. Even the route was distinctive.”
