However, say scientists, the 10-sided form on the south pole is distinctly completely different, which means we could also be seeing a brand new atmospheric phenomenon creating on the ringed planet.

Teasing out Saturn’s decagon

Agustín Sánchez-Lavega of the College of the Basque Nation in Spain and lead creator of the examine, first noticed hints of Saturn’s decagon by way of the college’s Planetary Virtual Observatory Laboratory web site.
