Bollywood superstar, Salman Khan, whose noticeably leaner appearance has been making the headlines and has been subject of discussion on social media in recent weeks, has now revealed just how much weight he has shed while preparing for his upcoming film with Nayanthara. The revelation came during the latest episode of ‘Alliance’, where Salman made a special appearance to support his younger brother, Sohail Khan.

For months, reports had suggested that Salman has been rocking sharper features and a slimmer physique, with many calling it one of his best looks in recent years. While some reports indicated that Khan lost around 7-8 kgs over the past months, the actor put all speculation to rest by revealing the actual numbers.While playfully teasing his younger brother, Sohail’s leaner look, Salman remarked, “You lost weight.” Sohail then proudly showed off his toned physique and replied, “12 kgs.” Salman then surprised everyone by revealing, “I’m down to 16 kgs,” drawing stunned reactions from the audience.

The impressive transformation is believed to be part of Salman’s ongoing prep for his upcoming action thriller, tentatively titled SVC63. This film will mark his first on-screen collaboration with South superstar Nayanthara. Directed by Vamshi Paidipally and produced by Dil Raju, the film is currently one of the most anticipated pan-India projects in production with an Eid 2027 release date.Sharing the announcement on social media, the actor wrote, “Thoda durr ki sochna chahiye, That’s why announced Eid….. Don’t worry iss wali ka bhi bataenge, when the time is right…… Patience, thoda sa sabar…… Mere Jitna he intezar karna padega, Baherhaal jo apka haal hai wo hi mera bhi haal hai….”In the same post, Salman also hinted that the makers would soon announce the release date of his other much-awaited project, ‘Maatrubhumi’, which has faced several delays and title changes.
