A 25-year-old man was allegedly stabbed to loss of life by his spouse’s lover in a brutal assault in Sarola village of Pune on Thursday evening. The accused was later chased and apprehended by police with the assistance of locals.
The deceased has been recognized as Amar Nandu Pawar. The accused, Deepak Pal, is a local of Uttar Pradesh.
In accordance with the FIR, the incident came about at round 9 pm on August 27, outdoors the gate of a home belonging to Mahesh Dhadve.
Pawar was reportedly strolling alongside the highway with Pal’s spouse and their minor daughter when the accused adopted them and attacked him from behind.
Pal stabbed Pawar a number of occasions within the neck and throat with a knife, inflicting critical accidents that proved deadly. Pawar died on the spot.
POLICE, LOCALS CHASE DOWN ACCUSED
After receiving details about the incident, Rajgad Police rushed to the spot. With the assistance of locals, the police chased and apprehended Pal.
The complete incident was captured on a CCTV digicam put in within the space.
Police have taken the accused into custody, and additional investigation is underway.
