A 30-year-old man was allegedly overwhelmed to dying by his father following an argument over cooking mutton throughout the ongoing Shravan month in Pune’s Warje-Malwadi space. The deceased has been recognized as Mahesh Bhagwat Gaikwad (30).

His father, Bhagwat Suryabhan Gaikwad (64), and mom, Parvati Bhagwat Gaikwad (60), have been arrested by the Warje-Malwadi police.

Based on police, Mahesh had been married for round 10 years however was hooked on alcohol and was not employed. His spouse had left him with their two youngsters, and the couple had lately been divorced.

Mahesh lived alone and would normally have meals at his dad and mom’ home close by.

Police stated Mahesh returned house drunk on the night time of August 25 and insisted that his dad and mom put together a mutton curry for him.

Because the household was not cooking non-vegetarian meals throughout Shravan, his dad and mom refused.

An argument adopted and allegedly escalated right into a bodily assault. Through the altercation, Mahesh’s father repeatedly struck him on the face and head, inflicting deadly accidents.

Police stated Mahesh’s mom, who works as a nurse at a nursing house, tried to guard her husband after the incident. She reporcleaned blood stains from the spot in an try to destroy proof and allegedly gave false info to Mahesh’s elder brother.

Mahesh’s elder brother, who works as a painter, later approached the Warje-Malwadi police and lodged a grievance.

Police registered a homicide case and arrested the daddy for allegedly killing Mahesh and the mom for allegedly serving to destroy proof.
