In line with the criticism, the CCB recovered a Redmi 5G smartphone, a blue packet pocket book, a charger and a SanDisk pen drive from a high-security barrack throughout a raid performed on August 11. Revanna allegedly claimed that the pocket book belonged to him.
The police claimed that they discovered Fb, WhatsApp, Instagram, Netflix, Prime Video and different purposes put in on the smartphone. The machine was password-protected and was subsequently despatched to the Forensic Science Laboratory for examination.
In line with the prosecution, telephone was allegedly getting used to speak with Revanna’s relations and attorneys and the SIM card was procured from Andhra Pradesh.
The police registered a case for fraudulent concealment of property beneath Part 323 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and for offences beneath the Karnataka Prisons (Modification) Act, 2022.
