Prime Minister Narendra Modi met Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian in Kyrgyzstan on Monday (August 31, 2026), and reviewed current developments within the West Asia.
Mr. Modi met Mr. Pezeshkian on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation summit.
As per the Ministry of Exterior Affairs (MEA), the 2 leaders “mentioned varied features of bilateral ties. They reviewed current developments within the West Asia area. Prime Minister reiterated India’s constant place that every one points have to be resolved by dialogue and diplomacy.”
