Lindsay Clancy’s excessive profile homicide trial in Massachusetts has resulted in a mistrial after the jury failed to succeed in a unanimous verdict.
The 12 member jury reportedly remained divided even after round 38 hours of deliberations over seven days.
Clancy is accused of killing her three younger youngsters in January 2023. She has admitted to the killings however pleaded not responsible by cause of madness.
Her protection argued that she was affected by extreme postpartum psychosis on the time of the incident.
The prosecution, nevertheless, argued that Clancy knew what she was doing and had intentionally killed her youngsters.
The jury was reportedly cut up 11 to 1, with one juror stopping the panel from reaching a unanimous choice.
