Police have arrested three individuals on Saturday in reference to the alleged gang rape of a 19-year-old girl within the Pine Forest space alongside the Jeypore-Koraput street in Odisha’s Koraput district.
The accused have been recognized as Barun Hial of Jeypore Sadar space, Surendra Harijan of Nabarangpur and Sanyasi Sagar alias Sanyasi Gamango of Jeypore Sadar space.
In keeping with police, the incident befell on August 5 when the lady, who reportedly works as a mannequin, had gone to the Pine Forest space for a photoshoot with a male good friend.
Police stated three males, masking their faces with black garments and carrying knives, allegedly reached the spot and threatened the lady and her good friend. The accused reportedly robbed them of money and likewise transferred cash by on-line transactions.
The accused allegedly then sexually assaulted the lady.

Police Start Probe
Following a written grievance lodged at Koraput Sadar police station, police registered a case and launched an investigation. Throughout the probe, police recognized and arrested the three accused.
All three have been subsequently produced earlier than a courtroom, police stated.
