JAMMU, Aug 8: A labourer was killed after being hit by a automobile belonging to the convoy of Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary within the Satwari space of Jammu district late on Saturday night time, officers stated.
The accident happened close to Royal Furnishings Showroom within the Satwari space, they stated.
In response to officers, the automobile (JK01AD-2158) was a part of the convoy returning after dropping the Deputy Chief Minister at his residence in Kunjwani when it hit the person.

The sufferer was recognized as Bharat Kapas S/o Faquir Kapas of Bihar, at current Mannequin City Gangyal. He was shifted to a hospital following the accident however succumbed to his accidents.
Police have taken cognisance of the incident and began an investigation to establish the circumstances resulting in the accident.
