The Karnataka Cupboard has authorised the Karnataka Regulation of Use of Authorities Premises and Public Property Invoice, 2026, Residence Minister Priyank Kharge mentioned.
In an announcement after the Cupboard assembly, Kharge mentioned the Invoice seeks to create a authorized framework for the usage of authorities premises and public property by non-public people, organisations, associations and societies.
“The Invoice gives a authorized framework to safeguard, protect, and make sure the accountable utilisation of Authorities lands, buildings, playgrounds, parks, roads, and different public belongings, stopping misuse whereas defending them for public profit and good,” Kharge said.
