SEOUL, South Korea, Aug. 5, 2026 — Joycity (CEO: Cho Seong Won) today announced that their Prime Open Beta Test for FreeStyle Football 2, a new soccer game developed by WOORE Studio, will begin Sept. 4. Ahead of launch, the test will serve as the final validation step for cross-play between PC and consoles. Players will have free access to the open beta through Steam, Xbox and PlayStation from Sept. 4-8.
The Prime Open Beta Test will run from Sept. 4 at 7 a.m. EDT/4 a.m. PDT/1 p.m. CEST through Sept. 7 at 9 p.m. EDT/6 p.m. PDT/Sept. 8 at 3 a.m. CEST.
Joycity will also participate in PAX West 2026, a major North American gaming event taking place during the test period. Joycity and WOORE Studio plan to build awareness in North America and other global markets by giving PAX attendees an opportunity to experience FreeStyle Football 2 in person while the online test is underway.

FreeStyle Football 2 reunites members of the original FreeStyle series development team to deliver a next-generation soccer experience that combines realistic graphics with energetic, arcade-driven gameplay.
