An IndiGo Goa-Delhi flight made an emergency touchdown on the Goa airport on Tuesday after reporting a mid-air engine failure, prompting Air Site visitors Management (ATC) to briefly declare a full emergency.
IndiGo flight 6E 2102 departed from Goa at 9:16 am and started returning to the airport after a difficulty with one in all its engines was reported. ATC declared a full emergency round 9:30 am because the plane was routed again to Goa for a secure touchdown.
The plane landed safely on Runway 28 at 9:51 am and was absolutely parked at Stand 6, following which ATC terminated the total emergency at 10:03 am.
