Galaxy Z Fold8 duo and Flip8 exceed Samsung’s pre-order targets in Europe

Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Z Flip8, the Galaxy Z Fold8, and the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra on July 22, and all three of them will go on sale starting August 7. However, like previous models, these foldables are also currently on pre-order in different regions, and they have exceeded Samsung’s pre-order targets in Europe.

Not just that, Samsung announced that these three new foldables also surpassed total pre-orders for last year’s Galaxy Z Fold7 and Galaxy Z Flip7 by 20% year-on-year in Europe in the first 11 days since their July 22 unveiling, with the Fold8 accounting for almost 40% of the total pre-orders in Europe.

Well, Europe isn’t the only market where the trio of latest Galaxy Z series foldables has proven a hit during the pre-orders phase. In India, the Flip8 and the Fold8 duo saw 271,000 pre-orders within the first 72 hours since the unveiling, compared to 15 days taken by Flip7 and Fold7 to reach the same number of pre-orders.

In South Korea, Samsung’s home country, the Flip8 and the Fold8 duo received 1.44 million pre-orders within a week, breaking the previous record of 1.38 million pre-orders held by the Galaxy Note10 series, achieved during an 11-day pre-order period.
