Union Residence Minister Amit Shah on Monday (August 24, 2026) directed the safety companies to take strict measures towards infiltration, asking the police chiefs to detect and deport unlawful migrants. He was inaugurating the two-day Nationwide Safety Methods Convention-2026 (NSSC).
On Tuesday (August 25), the convention will focus on data warfare and its implications on nationwide safety and the necessity for a bio-security framework.

The convention held in hybrid format was attended by over 850 individuals from throughout the nation. Union Residence Secretary Govind Mohan, Director, Intelligence Bureau Mahesh Dixit and heads of Central Armed Police Power (CAPF) attended the convention in Delhi.
