Daman murder: Bihar woman’s body found in trolley bag, live-in partner on the run – Bihar News

A married woman from Bihar’s Nawada district, who had left her husband and eloped with her lover two years ago, was murdered in Daman, with her body found stuffed inside a trolley bag.

Police have launched a manhunt for her live-in partner, Rishabh Kumar, who is accused of the crime and is currently on the run.

The victim has been identified as Chhoti Kumari.

According to police and the woman’s family, Chhoti was married when she developed a relationship with Rishabh, and about two years ago, she eloped with him despite opposition from her family.

Following her disappearance, the family lodged a kidnapping and missing person’s complaint.

However, Chhoti did not return, and the couple reportedly moved to the Daman, where they rented a house and began living together.

The family claimed Rishabh killed Chhoti following a dispute and stuffed her body into a suitcase in an attempt to dispose of it before fleeing.

The case came to light after Daman police received information about a woman’s body found inside a trolley bag.

During the investigation, the victim was identified as Chhoti Kumari from Nawada.

Police have launched a search operation to locate the accused and the exact motive behind the murder is yet to be established.
