CIK conducts searches at five locations across Kashmir

Srinagar, Aug 8: The Counter Intelligence Kashmir (CIK) on Saturday carried out searches at 5 places throughout 4 districts of the Kashmir Valley in reference to an ongoing investigation right into a case registered at Police Station CIK, Srinagar.

In line with officers, the searches have been carried out in Baramulla, Anantnag, Shopian and Bandipora in reference to FIR No. 03/2023, registered below Sections 505 and 153-A of the IPC and Sections 13 and 18 of the Illegal Actions (Prevention) Act (UAPA).

The searches have been carried out on the idea of warrants issued by the competent court docket as a part of the continued investigation, officers stated.

Throughout the searches, investigators recovered and seized digital gadgets, digital storage media and different materials suspected to be related to the case. The seizures have been made within the presence of impartial witnesses and in accordance with prescribed authorized procedures.
