CID begins raids at JSSC office in connection with Jharkhand recruitment exam ‘irregularities’

The Felony Investigation Division (CID) on Monday launched raids on the Jharkhand Employees Choice Fee workplace as a part of its investigation into alleged irregularities in recruitment examinations.

“We’re conducting raids on the JSSC workplace in reference to alleged irregularities in varied examinations,” CID ADG Manoj Kaushik instructed PTI.

The protesting college students have been demanding cancellation of the JSSC-CGL examination performed in September 2024, claiming that “out of 135 questions, 120 have been leaked”.

The agitators additionally search complete reforms within the Jharkhand Public Service Fee (JPSC) and the Jharkhand Employees Choice Fee (JSSC), and a CBI probe into the alleged irregularities.

The state probe company has arrested 20 people in reference to alleged recruitment examination ‘anomalies’, together with former JPSC Chairman L Khiangte.

Khiangte was appointed as JPSC chairman in February final yr after he retired because the state’s chief secretary.
