The Kremlin mentioned on Saturday (September 5, 2026) President Vladimir Putin had held “extraordinarily frank” talks with U.S. envoys on tips on how to finish the Ukraine war, with the People proposing a “variety of concepts”.
“The American representatives ready completely for this journey,” Kremlin aide Yuri Ushakov informed reporters, together with AFP.
“They didn’t solely specific their conventional curiosity in bringing the hostilities to a fast finish, they put ahead a variety of concepts on potential routes to a settlement,” he mentioned.
“The dialog was constructive, extraordinarily frank and trustful,” mentioned Mr. Ushakov, including that the Russian aspect “expressed confidence in reaching the set objectives”.
