The IDF started a wave of strikes in southern Lebanon on Sunday morning following the launch of two drones by Hezbollah terrorists in direction of troops working throughout the safety zone, the army introduced.
In the course of the Hezbollah assault, IDF troopers opened hearth on the drones and downed considered one of them.
No IDF accidents had been reported.
Forward of the strikes, IDF Arabic Spokesperson Lt. Col. Ella Waweya issued an evacuation order to residents of the southern Lebanese city of Arab Salim on X/Twitter.
“We urge all residents current within the constructing marked in pink on the connected map and the adjoining buildings to evacuate instantly,” she wrote. “You might be positioned close to a facility belonging to the terrorist group Hezbollah, which the IDF will act in opposition to.”
Residents had been urged to remain no less than 300 meters away from the constructing marked on the map Waweya shared.
“Remaining within the space of the constructing marked in pink places you in danger.”
