Production-Ready Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 Spotted in the UK

  • The bike was seen near RE’s UK Technology Centre in Leicestershire
  • 19-17-inch alloy wheels give away its road-focused intentions
  • Global debut to take place at EICMA 2026

Royal Enfield has been spotted testing the near-production version of the upcoming Himalayan 750 in the UK, ahead of its global debut at EICMA 2026. The motorcycle was seen near the company’s UK Technology Centre in Leicestershire and appears much closer to production than earlier prototypes.

The newly sighted test mule was a road-focused version of the adventure motorcycle and, as we have already seen in previous photos, draws styling inspiration from the Himalayan 450. In fact, the LED headlamp looks identical to most of the existing Royal Enfield motorcycles. However, there are clear distinctions from the 450, such as the more substantial windscreen and a proper fairing adjoining the headlamp and fuel tank, instead of tank cages seen on the 450. Even the bigger exhaust sits higher and much closer to the seat.

The 750cc motor is expected to retain a 270-degree crankshaft but produce more power than the current 650cc twin. It will also be equipped with a ride-by-wire throttle, a first for a Royal Enfield. This will enable the inclusion of riding modes and cruise control. A 450-like circular TFT display can also be seen in the pictures. The suspension setup comprises Showa USD forks and a rear monoshock with a remote preload adjuster, while braking duties are handled by twin front discs with ByBre calipers. The bike can be seen riding on 19-inch cast alloy wheels wrapped in road-biased CEAT tyres.

Unlike the Himalayan 450, the upcoming 750 appears to be designed primarily for touring. It features a large fuel tank, a low and accessible seat, a fixed windscreen, and a centre stand, suggesting a strong focus on long-distance comfort. The absence of handguards and pannier mounts indicates these could be offered as optional accessories.

The Himalayan 750 is expected to be the first model based on Royal Enfield’s new 750cc twin-cylinder platform. The new engine will certainly make its way to future versions of the Interceptor, Continental GT, and other twin-cylinder motorcycles in the brand’s portfolio.
