Student groups clash at COEP hostel over Rahul Gandhi’s Pune interaction

Pune: In a late-night growth, two pupil teams clashed on the School of Engineering Pune Technological College hostel, prompting police to succeed in the spot and management the state of affairs. NSUI representatives alleged that woman college students have been threatened, confined and crushed by members of the ABVP for supporting Congress MP Rahul Gandhi’s upcoming interplay with college students, ‘Chhatron Ki Goonj’, scheduled to be held within the metropolis on Saturday. They’re attempting to stifle freedom of expression. We wish motion towards these accountable. Even the police beat up the assembled college students. If the police don’t take motion towards the responsible, we are going to stage a sit-in protest,” Wadettiwar stated.As night time progressed, college students and representatives from each organisations began arriving in massive numbers whereas the police tried to disperse the group.
