Vijay Govt Order Bans Students From Joining CJP, Revokes Later

Chennai: The Vijay-led TVK authorities has withdrawn an order banning college students from participating in protests organised by youth motion CJP and leftist organisations.

Earlier, the Authorities in Tamil Nadu had banned college students of the state from taking part in protests organised by the Cockroach Janta Get together or Left Wing Scholar organisations, based on a authorities letter by Joint Director of Collegiate Schooling, Dr. P. Cynthia Selvi.

The letter, dated seventeenth August 2026, directs to enact inter-departmental and coordinated joint motion to stop college students and youth from taking part in protests, referring to a different authorities letter dated 14th August.
