Almost 300 flights had been cancelled Tuesday due to a technical difficulty within the UK air site visitors management system, the flight monitoring web site Flightradar24 reported.
Britain’s Nationwide Air Visitors Companies stated earlier Tuesday afternoon that engineers had been urgently engaged on the difficulty, which was affecting departing flights. In an replace, it stated it has “applied a repair and our flight system is beginning to recuperate,” and apologised for the disruptions.
Flightradar24 reported on X that the issue affected dozens of flights operated by a number of airways, together with British Airways, EasyJet, KLM and Lufthansa.
