The Amazon Great Freedom Sale 2026 will begin at 12 am on August 7 on Amazon.in. During the sale, shoppers can browse deals across categories including smartphones, laptops, home appliances, electronics, fashion, beauty, groceries and more.
Customers can shop across multiple categories while unlocking savings through Top 100 Deals, Blockbuster Deals, Trending Deals and 8 PM Deals. Amazon is also offering up to 10% instant discount on HDFC Bank credit card and EasyEMI transactions, cashback rewards, exchange offers and no-cost EMI on eligible purchases. Prime members will receive up to 15% additional savings on select products across categories.
Gaming laptop deals
Gaming laptops will be among the major highlights of the sale, with discounts of up to 50% on select models. Amazon’s promotional banners also advertise an additional discount of up to ₹10,000 through bank offers and up to 18 months of no-cost EMI on eligible purchases.
The sale will feature gaming laptops from brands including HP Omen, ASUS TUF Gaming and ASUS ROG, with offers on both newly launched and premium models. Select ASUS TUF Gaming laptops will also be available with exchange benefits of up to ₹20,000, while ROG gaming laptops will be offered with no-cost EMI options for up to 18 months.
AI-powered shopping experience
This year’s sale also introduces AI-powered shopping features designed to help customers discover products more easily. Amazon’s AI assistant Rufus can provide personalised recommendations, answer shopping queries, track price history and notify customers when products reach their preferred price. Meanwhile, Lens AI allows users to search for products by simply uploading or clicking a photo, while AI Review Highlights and Buying Guides aim to simplify purchase decisions.
Smartphones and consumer electronics
Shoppers can avail up to 40% off on smartphones and accessories, with deals on Samsung, OnePlus, Redmi and other brands. Selected smartphones will also be available with up to 12 months of no-cost EMI, while 5G smartphones will start from ₹12,999 during the sale. Amazon has also announced discounts of up to 80% on consumer electronics, including headphones, smartwatches and gaming accessories.
Home, fashion and everyday essentials
The sale includes up to 80% off across home, kitchen, fashion, beauty and everyday essentials. Customers can also shop Made-in-India furniture, home decor, gardening products, tools, fashion brands, footwear, watches, jewellery and skincare products at discounted prices. Everyday essentials such as groceries, snacks, protein supplements, pet care products and household items will also be available at special prices.
Local brands and Made-in-India products
This year’s sale will place a special focus on Made-in-India products, regional favourites and local sellers. Customers will find handcrafted furniture, handicrafts, regional food products, home decor, jewellery and products from women-led businesses alongside offers from Amazon’s Local Shops programme.
Amazon Pay and Bazaar offers
Customers using Amazon Pay can also avail discounts on flights, hotels and bus bookings, along with cashback offers, UPI rewards and benefits on Amazon Pay Later. Meanwhile, Amazon Bazaar will offer products priced under ₹299 and extra cashback offers for new users. Customers shopping on Amazon Bazaar will get free delivery, cash-on-delivery (COD) and easy five-day returns on every order.
