PUNE: Metropolis-based activist Vidyanand Bapat, who has been opposing the usage of high-decibel DJ techniques and loudspeakers throughout festivals, was allegedly assaulted by a person on Thursday morning.Bapat was attacked whereas chatting with media individuals within the Tilak Highway space, information company PTI reported.A video of the incident exhibits a person slapping Bapat as he was giving a sound chew to reporters on the street.Police reached the spot following the incident and escorted Bapat away in a police van.“We try to establish the attacker.
