The incident occurred on the night of August 30 at Tarangwadi village in Indapur tehsil.

The duo allegedly questioned them as to why land within the title of his spouse Anjana was bought, after which assaulted the couple with wood sticks, the grievance stated.
The complainant sustained accidents on his again, face, thighs and shoulder, whereas his spouse was injured on her wrist and waist, it stated.
The accused additionally allegedly abused the couple and threatened to kill them if the land deal was not cancelled, police stated.
