Madhavan shared an interesting insight about Dhurandhar during his conversation with Gulte Pro’s Ram Venkat Srikar as part of the GDN film’s promotions. He spoke about Aditya Dhar’s approach to filmmaking and the importance he gives to every small detail.
Madhavan revealed that Aditya Dhar spent an additional ₹10 crore only on detailing for the film. He said many of those elements may not even be consciously noticed by the audience while watching.
However, he believes those invisible efforts create a much stronger cinematic experience. Every frame carries depth even if viewers do not immediately recognize what makes it special.
According to Madhavan, the biggest lesson from Dhurandhar is that filmmakers do not have to explain everything on screen. If the intention is clear, even subtle visual cues can communicate the emotion effectively.
He added that audiences today are much smarter than many filmmakers assume. People can easily understand layered storytelling without spoon feeding every single detail.
Madhavan’s comments once again highlighted Aditya Dhar’s dedication to filmmaking. With such attention to detail, Dhurandhar is building strong curiosity among movie lovers ahead of its release.
