Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday (August 31, 2026) held talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin specializing in varied key features of bilateral ties, together with cooperation in areas of commerce and funding, power and defence.
PM Modi stated that India backed each peace effort to finish the conflict in Ukraine, the Interfax information company reported.
The assembly befell on the margins of the annual summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) on this capital metropolis of Kyrgyzstan.
“Every single day of conflict units humanity again, and we should work towards ending hostilities,” PM Modi added.
