A minimum of six individuals have died after a ferry carrying almost 270 passengers and crew capsized off the coast of northern Cyprus on Sunday.
Greater than 172 individuals have been rescued up to now, Northern Cyprus Prime Minister Unal Ustel instructed Turkish state-run TRT, AP reported.
The catamaran-style ferry was touring from the port of Kyrenia, often known as Girne, within the breakaway north of ethnically divided Cyprus, to the Turkish port of Tasucu in Mersin province, in line with AP.
