A police inspector in Bengaluru and three of his co-passengers had been killed in a street accident in Madhya Pradesh on Friday after their sleeper bus continuing in direction of Indore from Lucknow rammed into the security wall of a bridge. Twelve different passengers sustained critical accidents.
In response to the police, Ravi Ok B, 45, inspector on the Southeast Cybercrime Station, was sleeping on the higher berth when the driving force misplaced management of the car whereas negotiating a pointy curve on the flyover of Biaora bypass in Rajgarh district round 8.30 am. The affect of the crash shattered the home windows, throwing a number of passengers off the bus. Ravi fell from the flyover, sustaining deadly accidents, an officer mentioned.
The police mentioned Ravi and his crew had gone to Madhya Pradesh as a part of a cybercrime investigation.
The identities of the opposite Bengaluru police personnel travelling on the bus are but to be confirmed. Nonetheless, the police mentioned they had been protected.
Bengaluru Police Commissioner Seemant Kumar Singh mentioned, “A crew from the Southeast CEN police station had travelled to Madhya Pradesh in reference to a cybercrime case and arrested two accused. Whereas some members of the crew returned to Bengaluru, Ravi and two others remained in Madhya Pradesh”.
The crew had stayed again to catch one other accused within the case, Singh added.
