It’s been a little over a week since OnePlus officially announced it was leaving the EU and US markets. For some time, its devices, including the OnePlus 15, remained available for purchase on the official oneplus.com website , but now stocks seem to have completely run out. The publication writes that products such as the OnePlus 15, OnePlus 15R, OnePlus Pad Go 2, OnePlus Watch 4 and other devices are no longer available for purchase in the US. The OnePlus 15 page states that the smartphone is not available in any memory configurations or colors, and instead of a “Buy” button, it offers a “Notify me of availability” option.
A similar situation is observed on OnePlus websites in Canada and Mexico. The only products available are the OnePlus Buds Pro 3 and OnePlus Nord Buds 3 Pro earphones, as well as some accessories, including the OnePlus 13 case and the OnePlus Pad Go 2 Stylo stylus. At the same time, core devices – smartphones or tablets – are no longer available for purchase.
After releasing its flagship products, the company gradually became considered one of the leading Android smartphone manufacturers in the world, so early reports of a possible shutdown in certain regions were difficult to take seriously. However, last month, the company officially confirmed that it was leaving the US and European markets.
The announcement clarified that devices already purchased will continue to receive promised software updates and after-sales support. However, there are a few caveats: the OnePlus community page will officially close on August 16, and all OnePlus devices that support Android 17 will be migrated from OxygenOS to ColorOS.
The company has not yet announced the exact list of compatible models, but insider Yogesh Brar recently provided a list of devices that are likely to receive the update to ColorOS 17. Users will be able to continue using OxygenOS, but this will mean giving up future software and security updates.
For service support, OnePlus owners in Europe are advised to contact Oppo service centers. In the US, customers can use the OnePlus support page to get the necessary assistance.
