NEW DELHI: Tamil Nadu chief minister C Joseph Vijay broke with a long-standing meeting conference on Thursday when he left his designated chair and took a seat alongside ministers within the entrance row in the course of the afternoon session. It was uncommon for a chief minister to occupy a seat meant for ministers, information company PTI reported citing a supply.Vijay, who usually sits in a separate chair positioned near Speaker J C D Prabhakar, moved throughout the entrance row and sat between ministers Okay A Sengottaiyan, who can also be the chief of the Home, and Aadhav Arjuna.

The transfer drew consideration as chief ministers historically occupy a separate designated seat within the Home, whereas ministers sit alongside them in accordance with seniority.Members of the Home sometimes change seats briefly to work together with colleagues.
